SLOASA Action Alert!

As you may know, Tammy Murray of Compassionate Cannabis Information Center (CCIC) is applying to the County to open a medical marijuana storefront dispensary at 1409 So. 4th Street in Oceano.

The SLO County Planning Commission is set to consider her application THIS THURSDAY, NOV. 3rd, in the Supervisors Chambers of the County Government Center, corner of Santa Rosa and Monterey Streets in SLO..  The meeting is set to begin at 9:00 am.

WE WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR ACTIVE SUPPORT OF THIS APPLICATION.

To that end, Ms. Murray is sponsoring an evening of Medical Cannabis Activism Training and ASA Membership Drive.  It is taking place THIS WEDNESDAY, NOV. 2, beginning at 5:00 pm, at the proposed storefront location: 1409 So. 4th St., Oceano.

Please try to attend these important meetings.  Previous dispensary applicants have been met with vociferous opposition, making it easy for the government agencies to deny them.  It is imperative that we supporters make our presence known and our voices heard; and our SLO ASA chapter has been central in raising this visibility.  However, we need both new and renewing paid members to maintain our chapter viability.

Again, please join us informally Wednesday evening, to enjoy a complimentary bowl of chili while going over talking points to present to County officials (hand-out information will be provided to you).  If you join or renew your paid ASA membership, Tammy is also offering her “Freedom Fighter” T-shirt, which promotes the proposed Oceano location:  we want to see many of these shirts on attendees at the Planning Commission meeting this Thursday.

Thanks for your support.  For more info, contact Linda at asaprop215@gmail.com, or call her at 805-528-0808.
